Awarding ceremony of the main EAEU music contest took place in Minsk

On 21 December 2020, the winners of the International Music Award of the Eurasian Economic Union “BELBRAND AWARD” were announced. Two Belarusian musicians, Anna Teran (Violin) and Mikhail Volchkov (Bayan), received the high awards.
Those who help the young talents to master their skills daily – the teachers of the prizewinners – Krivel Regina Dmitrievna, Chibisov Grigory Vladimirovich, Sevryukov Nikolai Ivanovich – were not left out of the spotlight.
In 2020, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, Anatolij Markevich, hosted the award ceremony, thus highlighting the high status of the BELBRAND AWARD for the EAEU countries.
The International Music Contest of the Eurasian Economic Union “BelBrand Award” was founded in 2014 by the Association “BelBrand” under the patronage of the Eurasian Economic Commission with the aim of attracting the public to the issues of supporting talented youth. The irreplaceable Chairman of the Prize Organising Committee is Timur Muratovich Suleimenov – Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The award ceremony was held during the concert “Tango. A Story of Passion”, the programme of which was presented by the State Chamber Orchestra of Belarus under the direction of maestro Vyacheslav Bortnovsky.
